Delivery and Returns

The Amarone della Valpolicella Costasera by Masi is made from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes. The historic headquarters of Masi is located in Gargagnago, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, a territory that extends over the hills between Lake Garda and Verona; this Amarone takes its name from the southwest exposure, towards the sunset and Lake Garda, a particularly favorable position. The grapes are dried during the winter months on bamboo racks in the fruit drying room, as per tradition.
AMARONE COSTASERA MASI: TASTING
The Amarone Costasera by Masi presents itself with a very intense ruby color with garnet reflections; on the nose, it is traditional with notes of cooked fruit and spirits, hints of tobacco and sweet spices, and hints of bitter cocoa. On the palate, it is broad, full, balanced, with the taste aligning well with the olfactory aromas. It is to be tried with a thick wild boar and porcini soup, or, at the end of the meal, with medium and long-aged cheeses.
