The Malvasia Balanubi from the Nicosia winery is a passito wine produced in the heart of eastern Sicily, at the foot of Mount Etna, from Malvasia grapes cultivated in ideal conditions to express the full aromatic richness of the variety. The Terre Siciliane IGT designation guarantees authentic provenance and careful winemaking, capable of combining tradition and technical precision. The grapes are hand-picked and left to dry on the vine or on trellises to concentrate sugars and aromas. The bouquet is broad and enveloping, with aromas of dehydrated apricot, candied orange peel, orange blossom honey, and yellow flowers, enriched with spicy and slightly resinous nuances. On the palate, it is soft and velvety, with a enveloping sweetness perfectly balanced by a fresh and mineral vein. The finish is long, harmonious, and rich in fruity and honeyed returns.
