The Dry White Moscato Allemanda by Planeta is made from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes grown on white soils, predominantly calcareous, characterized by an abundant skeleton of small dimensions, at an altitude between 40 and 60 meters above sea level. The vineyards are located in the Buonivini estate, situated in the homonymous district of Noto (SR), surrounded by almond groves, carob trees, and olive trees that gradually slope down to the nearby sea. In these lands, the Moscato grape, generally used to produce sweet wines, is employed to make dry whites that still retain the typical aromaticity of Moscato in a gentler way. The aging of the 2017 Dry White Moscato Allemanda by Planeta, which is appreciated young, took place for a few months in steel.

Moscato Bianco Allemanda by Planeta presents itself in the glass with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, fragrant aromas of jasmine and white flowers emerge, combined with hints of Mediterranean citrus and penetrating saline notes. Pleasantly fresh and mineral, on the palate it reveals a full and fruity taste. It has a finish of good persistence. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs well with vegetarian dishes and delicious seafood recipes.
