Prunotto's Barbaresco was born from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards located between the municipalities of Barbaresco and Treiso in the province of Cuneo, on soils called fossil Sant'Agata Marne, rich in manganese, zinc and boron. After harvesting, destemming and pressing, the grapes were subjected to maceration for 10 days at a maximum temperature of 30°. The refinement took place for approximately 12 months in oak barrels of different capacities and a further 12 months in the bottle.

Prunotto's Barbaresco announces itself at the sight of a wonderful garnet red color. On the nose it releases intense aromas of small ripe red fruits and potpourri combined with balsamic hints and dark spices. The sip is full and elegant, supported by good freshness and finely smooth tannins. At the table it goes well with mature cheeses and tasty dishes based on red meat and game.
