Prunotto's Barbaresco is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards located between the municipalities of Barbaresco and Treiso in the province of Cuneo, on soils known as Marne di Sant’Agata fossils, rich in manganese, zinc, and boron. After harvesting, destemming, and crushing, the grapes underwent maceration for 10 days at a maximum temperature of 30°. The aging took place for about 12 months in oak barrels of different capacities and an additional 12 months in the bottle.

Prunotto's Barbaresco presents a wonderful garnet red color. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of ripe red berries and potpourri combined with balsamic hints and dark spices. The palate is full and elegant, supported by good freshness and finely polished tannins. At the table, it pairs well with aged cheeses and tasty dishes featuring red meats and game.
