Siddùra's Moscato Passito Nùali is a wine that has thrilled and made everyone agree for years. The Moscato vineyards are near the north coast of the island, on the slopes of the hills overlooking the sea, between 50 and 200 meters above sea level. The soils are predominantly sandy and the microclimate is well ventilated, ideal conditions for drying on the vine for weeks, so much so that the mention Passito is naturally possible. The grapes, harvested strictly by hand, are destemmed and pressed, then ferment for a long time in thermo-conditioned steel tanks. Maturation (just under a year) always takes place in steel, in contact with the fine lees.
MOSCATO PASSITO NÙALI SIDDÙRA: THE TASTING
Siddùra's Moscato Passito Nùali is golden yellow in colour. On the nose it offers gratifying notes of dehydrated apricot, candied ginger, beeswax, broom flowers, orange peel and passion fruit. On the sip it is enveloping and warm, sweet but very fresh and mineral, very long in the fruit and spices, closing on the citrus fruit. Delicious both with apricot tart and with a goat's blue cheese.
