Barolo is one of the greatest Italian wines. The small family-run company Silvio Grasso is in the second generation to run the winery in the town of La Morra. Federico Alessio Grasso, together with his wife Marilena and his sons Paolo and Silvio, work scrupulously especially with the noble Nebbiolo on an area of only 14 hectares divided into 6 vineyards. The history of the winery began in 1927. At that time they worked on a collective basis, that is to say for social cellars. Only in the 1980s Federico Alessio Grasso began bottling his wines under a single label with the name of his father Silvio Grasso as the name of the company, and to successfully bring them to the market.
