The Leone Blend by Tasca d'Almerita is made from Catarratto (49%), Sauvignon (18%), Pinot Bianco (15%), Gewürztraminer (10%) and Moscato (8%) grapes. The vineyards of origin are located high in the hills. at an altitude between 500 and 900 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out with a yield of approximately 65 quintals per hectare. During winemaking. the alcoholic fermentation phase took place for 15 days in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14-16 °C. The refinement always took place in stainless steel. for a period of 4 months. in contact with yeasts.

The Leone Blend by Tasca d'Almerita presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it expresses aromas of white pulp and tropical fruit which combine with hints of spring flowers and notes of Mediterranean citrus fruits. The taste is intense and pleasant. enhanced by a clear fresh-savory trail that persists in the finish. At the table it goes well with vegetarian dishes and rich seafood recipes such as fried fish.
