Intense and brilliant cherry red in color, with hints of small red fruits, morello cherry and plum on the nose. Warm, elegant and very persistent on the palate, with soft tannins.
Packaging: 3 bottles of 0.75 lt
Grapes: Nero D'Avola 50%, Frappato di Vittoria 50
Vinification: Harvest at the beginning of October, harvested by hand with the use of small boxes, manual selection of bunches, destemming followed by 12 days of stays on the skins; after the malolactic racking in a steel tank.
Aging: in steel for 6 months and in the bottle for at least 6 months.
Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.

Tenuta Bastonaca was founded in Vittoria from the passion for the world of wine by Giovanni and Silvana. Through their story of the philosophy related to the cultivation of bush-trained vines, an ancient method of grape production in the Vittoria area, the enhancement of local grape varieties, and the desire to innovate by starting the cultivation of uncommon grape varieties in Sicily.
