The Julius Vermentino from Tenuta Lungarella is produced with 100% Vermentino grapes. The vineyards grow in Poli, a small town between Palestrina and Tivoli, south-east of the capital, on a hill in the Prenestini mountains, 435 meters above sea level, with tufaceous soils. Tenuta Lungarella is a real farm: a vegetable garden, olive grove and vineyard are cultivated, poultry, cows and pigs are raised and hives are taken care of. The Julius Vermentino grapes are harvested by hand and traditionally processed in white with soft pressing and cold fermentation, after which the refinement takes place exclusively in steel for a period of approximately 6 months on the fine lees.

The Julius Vermentino from Tenuta Lungarella enters the glass with a lively straw color. The nose offers white peach, jasmine, hints of passion fruit and salty mineral hints. In the mouth it is fresh and savory, with a central flower and a pleasantly bitter finish. Excellent with mixed salad, Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella.
