Delivery and Returns

Terlan's Sauvignon Winkl was obtained from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The name Winkl is that of the vineyard (cru) of origin, one of the oldest in the Terlano (BZ) area, exposed to the South, South-West and rooted on sandy soil with the presence of pebbles, at an altitude between 280 and 580 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest, the grapes were sent for winemaking which included a phase of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The refinement took place for 5-7 months partly in stainless steel (80%) and partly in large wooden barrels (20%) in contact with the fermentation yeasts, thus enriching the wine in terms of body, aromas and substances.
SAUVIGNON WINKL TERLAN: THE TASTING
Terlan's Sauvignon Winkl has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it expresses aromas of apricot and yellow pulp fruit which are intertwined with hints of white flowers and light notes of gooseberry and mint. The sip is fresh and pleasantly fruity and supported by a clear and persistent minerality. At the table it pairs well with fresh and semi-mature cheeses as well as vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood recipes based on shellfish and white fish.
