Thomas Dorfmann's Grüner Veltliner is a white wine produced from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes grown in the Untrum area, a hamlet of Velturno (BZ). The vineyards stand on gravelly and mineral-rich soils, at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level. In the cellar, the bunches were softly pressed to obtain the must. The alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature. The refinement took place for a few months in stainless steel tanks in contact with the yeasts. Grüner Veltliner is a vine known for being the most widespread in Austria, where it is the protagonist of approximately 30% of the country's vineyard hectares.

The Grüner Veltliner by Thomas Dorfmann presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose recalls aromas of yellow fruit combined with hints of anise and aromatic herbs and spicy hints of white pepper. The sip is fresh and mineral, with a distinctly fruity taste and a round finish. At the table it is fully appreciated with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as with delicious seafood preparations, especially if spicy. Try it with paella de marisco.
