AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO DOCG 2018 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
The flagship of the Tommasi family. Its great finesse and structure, with a complex and velvety flavor, make this wine unique.
Color: Intense ruby red
Aroma: Intense, with great finesse, with hints of ripe cherry and plum
Taste: Complex, velvety, and full-bodied, with typical characteristics of dried grapes.
Grapes: Corvina Veronese 50%, Corvinone 15%, Rondinella 30%, Oseleta 5%
Origin: Hilly area of Valpolicella Classica, from the prestigious vineyards La Groletta and Conca D'ORO.
Winemaking and aging: Drying of the grapes for 3 months in the fruit dryer, 15 days of fermentation in wooden barrels. 3 years of aging in Slavonian oak barrels of 35 Hl.
Alcohol content: 15% Vol.
Serving temperature: 18° C
First vintage: 1959

RIPASSO DELLA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO DOC 2018 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
From the dried grapes used for the production of Amarone, immediately after fermentation, the best selection of Valpolicella is repassed, to start the second fermentation that enriches the bouquet of aromas, the alcohol content, and the complexity of this wine.
Color: Intense ruby red
Aroma: Intense with hints of ripe cherry and plum
Taste: Fresh and persistent, with soft and silky tannins. Dominant cherry, notes of vanilla.
Grapes: Corvina Veronese 70% - Rondinella 25% - Corvinone 5%
Origin: Hilly area of Valpolicella Classica, vineyards Conca d’oro, La Groletta, Valpolicella Classica.
Winemaking and aging: Fermentation in steel barrels for about 9 days. Refermented on the Amarone pomace for about 12/13 days. 15 months in Slavonian oak barrels of 65 hl. 6 months of aging in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18° C
First vintage: 1995
Pairing: pasta with meat sauces, boiled meats, and braised dishes, perfect with grilled meat.
