Bolonero di Torrevento was produced from Nero di Troia and Aglianico grapes. The vineyards of origin lie on medium-textured calcareous-clayey soils of alluvial nature, at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out between the second and third ten days of October with a yield of approximately 110 quintals per hectare. The refinement took place for 8 months in stainless steel and for a short period in the bottle.

Bolonero Castel del Monte di Torrevento has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of berries emerge which combine with hints of black pepper and dark spices. The taste is pleasant and balanced, accompanied by a gentle fresh-savory trail that persists in the finish. At the table it pairs very well with succulent land dishes based on red meat or game.
