Torrevento's Rosato Veritas was obtained from 100% Bombino Nero grapes grown on medium-textured calcareous-rocky soils, at an altitude between 400 and 500 meters above sea level. The winemaking began with the soft pressing of the bunches which led to the production of the must. The alcoholic fermentation, which converted the sugars into alcohol, took place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The refinement lasted 4 months in stainless steel plus a short period in the bottle.
VERITAS ROSATO TORREVENTO: TASTING
Torrevento's Rosato Veritas is a bright pale pink colour. On the nose it expresses aromas of strawberry, raspberries and small red berries that chase hints of rose and violet and light notes of aromatic herbs. The sip is pleasant and round, fresh and mineral, with a distinctly fruity taste. Of a versatile nature, at the table it goes well with cured meats and cheeses as well as delicious seafood preparations, especially if based on shellfish and/or tomatoes.
