The Greco di Tufo by Vadiaperti Traerte was produced from 100% Greco grapes coming from the territories of Prata di Principato Ultra, Santa Paolina and Montefusco, in the province of Avellino. The vineyards, facing south, include 30-40 year old vines that are rooted in clayey soils, at an altitude between 600 and 700 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest, the bunches were transported to the cellar to undergo soft pressing. The must thus obtained was fermented in stainless steel where refinement then took place for a few months before bottling.GRECO DI TUFO VADIAPERTI TRAERTE: TASTINGThe Greco di Tufo di Vadiaperti Traerte presents a straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose it expresses aromas of yellow pulp fruit which combine with timid hints of wax and citrus notes of grapefruit. The taste is fresh and full-bodied, enhanced by a strong minerality that persists in the long finish. At the table it pairs well with semi-mature cheeses as well as vegetarian dishes and delicious seafood recipes based on white fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
