Vigneti Reale's Malvasia Rosato del Salento is a rosé from the local Malvasia Nera di Lecce. The Reale agricultural company is located in the municipality of Cellino San Marco, between the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce. It extends over a flat area of 180 hectares, of which approximately 100 are planted with vineyards and the rest with olive groves. the Ionian Sea is 20 km to the west, the Adriatic Sea 10 km to the east, the temperature range is therefore guaranteed by the fresh sea winds; the company soils are sandy-loamy, reddish in colour, with little limestone. The grapes for this wine macerate 6-8 hours before fermentation, then they are vinified and aged briefly in steel, always with temperature control. MALVASIA ROSATO VIGNETI REALE: TASTING The Malvasia Rosato del Salento by Vigneti Reale appears coral pink in the glass. On the nose it smells of raspberries and strawberries, with hints of peony, Mediterranean scrub and pink pepper; in the mouth it is soft, fresh and tasty with fruit. Excellent aperitif, it is perfect with pizza, as with fried chicken or octopus arrabiata.
