The Merlot Mevushal from Cantina Sant'Andrea di Terracina represents a further demonstration of the entrepreneurial spirit of the Pandolfo family. In fact, the company also produces a wide range of labels according to processes authorized by the Central Rabbinate of Israel. In Hebrew "mevushal" literally means cooked or boiled. However, mevushal wines are not brought to boiling point but pasteurized to a temperature that meets the requirements of the relevant rabbinical authority. This technique does not necessarily damage the final product, so much so that some well-known non-kosher wine producers believe that flash pasteurization can even improve aromatic stability.

MERLOT MEVUSHAL CANTINA SANT'ANDREA: THE TASTING
The Merlot Mevushal from Cantina Sant'Andrea is intense ruby with garnet reflections. On the nose it is intense and persistent with hints of red fruit such as blackberry and plum and floral notes such as dried violet with herbaceous hints and a balsamic touch. Try it with lamb chops.
