In the Sabina territories, between Rome and Rieti, the Sabina DOP oil is produced, an ancient extra virgin olive oil obtained from the olive varieties Carboncella, Leccino, Raja, Frantoio, Olivastrone, Moraiolo, Olivago, Salviana and Rosciola.The Sabina DOP oil has a golden yellow color with green reflections, its taste is aromatic and the maximum acidity is 0.60%.The oil obtained from Sabina olives enjoys a millennia-old reputation, it has always been the most known and appreciated oil in Rome and for over 20 years it has been awarded the D.O.P. certification.

The C.C.I.A.A of Rome, in accordance with the European Regulation, certifies the origin of production, the production process, the transformation process, and the product obtained. The C.C.I.A.A. of Rome has been designated to carry out checks on the oil with Protected Designation of Origin Sabina in order to certify the following aspects:
- the origin of production.
- the production and transformation process.
- the product obtained.

Quello dei Fratelli Narducci è uno storico frantoio nato nel 1959 a Moricone nel cuore della Sabina Romana.Il precursore fu Mario Narducci, appassionato dell’olivicoltura di qualità e figura imprenditoriale di spicco sin dai primi anni del Novecento. L’azienda è un fulcro centrale per quanto riguarda la produzione e l’eccellenza olearia della zona. Una unica filiera, che consente di monitorare e controllare la materia prima dall’inizio alla fine del ciclo produttivo. Questa è l’unica strada scelta per la produzione di un olio extravergine di oliva eccellente. Oliveti, frantoio, laboratori e prodotti godono inoltre della certificazione Sabina DOP.
