Delivery and Returns
The Bolgheri Rosato Scalabrone by Antinori is obtained from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (30%), and Syrah (30%) grapes grown in the Scalabrone vineyard of the Guado al Tasso estate, within the prestigious Bolgheri area. Here, the soils are alluvial in origin, characterized by clay-sandy and clay-loamy compositions, and are located at an average altitude of 50 meters above sea level. The climate is naturally mild due to the extreme proximity of the sea and the mitigating action of its breezes. After the harvest, the grapes were vinified separately: a short maceration on the skins (3-5 hours) allowed the must to take on the characteristic pink color and enrich its aromatic profile. After the alcoholic fermentation - which took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 16°C - the wine was blended and bottled after a brief aging in steel.
BOLGHERI ROSATO SCALABRONE ANTINORI: TASTING NOTES
The Bolgheri Rosato DOC Scalabrone by Antinori presents itself in the glass with a delicate light pink color. On the nose, it releases fragrant aromas of cherry and small red fruits intertwined with subtle notes of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and savory, supported by a pleasant fruity taste that lingers in the finish. Excellent as an all-meal wine, it pairs well with cold cuts and delicious seafood dishes - especially stews - based on shellfish and white fish.
The Antinori Family has been dedicated to wine production for more than six hundred years: from when, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, through 26 generations, the family has always managed this business directly with innovative and sometimes courageous choices but always maintaining respect for traditions and for the territory. Tradition, passion and intuition were the driving qualities that led the Antinori Marquises to establish themselves as one of the main Italian producers of high quality wines.
