For our MonRose Grande Cuvée we use our most expressive base wines - aged in wooden barrels - that shape the character of this cuvée.
A classic blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier. The three vines complement each other almost perfectly in terms of aroma, structure and acidity, giving life to a complex but harmonious sparkling wine. On the nose, this Grande Cuvée shows fresh brioche, cedarwood, aromas of juicy oranges and white flowers. On the palate, notes of apricot and redcurrant are presented in a powerful and persistent way. Due to the partial refinement of the base wine in wooden barrels, the sparkling wine shows spicy notes that give it structure. The mousseux is fine and underlines the elegance of the sparkling wine. This sparkling wine has a long aftertaste and finish.

Package: 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Grapes: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Meunier
Vinification: Over 120 months of aging in bottle.
Alcohol content: 12% Vol.
Dosage: Extra Brut

Sekthaus Raumland was founded in 1984 by its current owner, Volker Raumland, indicated by many as the pioneer of the German quality sparkling wine revolution. Since its inception, the company has been specialized in the production of Sekt (sparkling wine) alone and all the work, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, is organized to achieve the best result in terms of quality, with products that stand out for their finesse and delicacy. The winemaking process is very careful, starting with manual harvesting in small boxes and the selection of bunches. The grapes are pressed whole to preserve the aroma of the fruit, without maceration or pumping. Only the “cuvée” is used, the first pressing, the best part of the juice. The production method is the classic one, although Volker Raumland emphasizes that the intention is not to copy Champagnes, but rather to create truly typical products and enhance their origin, since the vineyards, land and local climate are very particular. The time factor plays a fundamental role in refinements, which can last, depending on the cuvée, from “more than three years” up to fifteen years. All sparkling wines receive a very low dosage (typically less than 6 g/l.).
Estimated between Monday 16 June and Friday 20 June.
