Cantina d'Isera's Teroldego was born on the hills of the municipality of the same name. We are between 200 and 400 meters above sea level with excellent south-south-east exposure, on mixed soils made up of gravel, limestone, basalt, sand and clay. Teroldego is an indigenous Trentino vine that has found widespread cultivation in the valley floor of the Piana Rotaliana and on the hills of the Adige Valley, where it is often cultivated with the traditional pergola. The manual harvest of the grapes takes place in the second half of September; the vinification is traditional in red, with controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The refinement takes place in concrete and steel tanks, then for a short period in the bottle.
TEROLDEGO CANTINA D'ISERA: TASTING
Cantina d'Isera's Teroldego has a ruby red color with typical purple hues. On the nose it smells of undergrowth, blueberry yogurt, violet and black pepper; in the mouth it is soft, full of fruit, with delicate tannins, with a certain freshness to balance everything. Delicious served slightly refreshed, in the company of beef marinated with coriander, cumin and onion, cooked on the grill.
