The coppery Pinot Grigio Colli Orientali del Friuli by Le Vigne di Zamò is produced with 100% Pinot Grigio, harvested at the end of August in the Manzano vineyards. The grapes are destemmed and left to macerate cold overnight. This is then followed by pressing and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After 8 months of sur-lies refinement, the wine is bottled and marketed.
COPPER PINOT GRIGIO COLLI ORIENTALI DEL FRIULI THE VINEYARDS OF ZAMÒ: TASTING
The copper Pinot Grigio from Le Vigne di Zamò presents itself in the glass with a fascinating pale salmon pink color. On the nose it is floral with notes of rose petals, fruity with hints of white peach, slightly herbaceous with hints of medicinal herbs; there is no shortage of iodine and a hint of bread crust. On the sip it is savory, fresh, with an interesting taste profile and a certain length. Good accompanied by seafood dishes that also have a fatty component, for example with Sardinian fregula, tuna belly, San Marzano confit and basil.

Oscar Farinetti, Pierluigi, Silvano and Brigitte continue the path traced by the family of origin, continuing to interpret the tradition and personality of Friuli Venezia Giulia and combining the great quality respect for the earth and attention to native vines. Le Vigne di Zamò, however, remains a family and artisan company, which has been able to give prestige to its wines by charging them with intangible values until they become part of the myth.
Estimated between Monday 26 May and Friday 30 May.
