The Madrigale of the Producers of Manduria comes from old vineyards, between 30 and 50 years of age, raised partly with the traditional sapling system, and partly with espalier. This cooperative winery, for which this vine represents the fulcrum, was founded way back in 1932, and is now made up of around 400 members who cultivate 1000 hectares, half of which are Primitivo. The grapes for Madrigale are harvested in the second half of September, vinified in steel with temperature control without completing the development of sugars, the wine then ages between steel and bottle.

Madrigale Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale from the Manduria Producers has a beautiful intense ruby color with purple hues. On the nose it has warm and exotic hints of dried figs, dates, spices, dried violets and cocoa beans. In the mouth it is pleasantly sweet, fresh, with silky tannins and a certain length. Good both with blue cheeses and with desserts of a certain structure, for example chocolate, date and walnut cake.
