Vietti's Dolcetto d'Alba Tre Vigne was produced with 100% Dolcetto grapes harvested by hand at the beginning of September. The reference vineyards are rooted in hilly soils of calcareous-clayey matrix. In the production process, the alcoholic fermentation, with maceration of the must on the skins, took place in stainless steel for approximately 1 week with various déléstages. The refinement took place for a few months in stainless steel.
DOLCETTO D'ALBA TRE VIGNE VIETTI: TASTING
Vietti's Dolcetto d'Alba Tre Vigne has a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose it offers aromas of berries together with floral hints of violet and a light vinous note. The sip is soft and harmonious, supported by round tannins and a pleasant fruity taste. At the table it goes well with cured meats and cheeses as well as delicious land preparations. Surprising in combination with pizza.
For four generations, the Vietti family has been producing wines in Castiglione Falletto, a small medieval town located in the center of one of the happiest areas of the Langhe for the cultivation of vines, the “Barolo area”. The viticultural properties have progressively expanded over time and today they include a wealth of terroir of absolute value within the Barolo area. The Vietti brand, today is universally recognized among the best brands of wine made in Italy.
