“Acqueverdi” Gin delle Alpi is characterized by a strong minerality conferred by the presence of water from the “aqueverdi” spring. Unique character thanks to the use of botanicals typical of the Alps and Val d'Aosta.
Slightly straw yellow in color, the olfactory examination prevails juniper with the aromatic intensities of the other botanicals characteristic of the Alpine territory. Dry and full flavor; well balanced and pleasant with resinous and floral nuances characteristic of the herbs used.
Packaging: 1 liter bottle with package
Ingredients: Gentian, Elderflower, Mallow, Alpine Rose, Pine Buds, Fir Needles, Genepy, Mountain Pine.
Notes: The botanicals are infused and macerated in alcohol separately and then distilled at a low temperature, always separately, in a vacuum still in a bain marie.
Alcohol content: 43% Vol.

The "La Valdotaine" Distillery was founded in 1947 in Verres, in the lower valley, and began distilling grappa in small copper stills using traditional direct fire distillation.
In 1978, it moved to Saint Marcel where steam distillation techniques were perfected, and flavored grappas were started to be produced using the herbs and fruits characteristic of the mountain tradition and the prestigious Valdostan single varietals.
In 1992, the distillery was expanded with the addition of a new generation still for vacuum distillation in a water bath. This technique allows for the preservation of all the aromas and fragrances contained in the pomace, which are largely lost in traditional distillation. Quality and tradition, starting from the selection of raw materials to the rigorous care in preservation, culminating in the distillation in old "drop-by-drop" stills overseen by the expert eye of the Master Distiller.
