The Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle Rayon by Cave Mont Blanc is 100% Priè Blanc, biotype Blanc de Morgex. The grapes come from the selection of the vineyards best exposed to the sun; the cooperative's vineyards climb the slopes of Mont Blanc, between 900 and 1200 meters above sea level and are the highest in Europe. Winemaking is traditionally carried out in white, at a controlled temperature, with partially malolactic fermentation.
BLANC DE MORGEX ET DE LA SALLE RAYON CAVE MONT BLANC: THE TASTING
The Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle Rayon by Cave Mont Blanc appears in the glass with a characteristic pale straw yellow. On the nose it is very fresh, almost like mint ice, and then it has freshly ripe fruit (pear, apple and gooseberry), a rocky scent, light notes of white flowers and sage. In the mouth it is thirst-quenching, with great freshness, salinity and almost imperceptible alcohol content. Excellent accompanied by the most varied preparations: from omelettes with wild herbs, to fresh fontina, to raw seafood, to apple risotto.
