The Critone di Librandi was obtained from Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon grapes grown in the territory of Strongoli, Rocca di Neto and Casabona, in the province of Crotone. The original vineyards are located on clayey and calcareous soils. The harvest was carried out between the second half of August and the first ten days of September, with a yield of approximately 80 quintals per hectare. The white winemaking process began with the soft pressing of the grapes and took place entirely in stainless steel. The refinement took place for a short period in stainless steel and in the bottle.
CRITONE LIBRANDI: TASTING
Critone Librandi presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow colour. On the nose it offers aromas of tropical yellow pulp fruit that chase shy herbaceous hints and notes of Mediterranean citrus fruits. The taste is soft and pleasant, supported by a clear mineral freshness that persists in the finish. Excellent in combination with delicious seafood recipes based on white fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
