The Pecorino Terre di Chieti by Palazzo Battaglini is a white wine made from 100% Pecorino grown in the Villamagna area in the province of Chieti. The vineyards are trained in the Abruzzo pergola at an estimated altitude of 255 meters above sea level. In the cellar the white winemaking process began with the soft pressing of the grapes to produce the must. The alcoholic fermentation that converted the sugars into alcohol took place at a controlled temperature. The refinement lasted a few months in stainless steel. For its wines Palazzo Battaglini uses Dring, the innovative bottle with built-in drip guard. It is a patented device that allows you to pour wine without any drops falling from the bottle. No more wine stains on the tablecloth.
PERCORINO TERRE DI CHIETI PALAZZO BATTAGLINI: TASTING
The Pecorino Terre di Chieti from Palazzo Battaglini has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it expresses aromas of yellow pulp fruit and notes of white spring flowers intertwined with hints of aromatic herbs and citrus fruits. On the palate it is fresh and pleasantly savory with a soft fruity and citrus finish. At the table it pairs well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as delicious dishes based on white fish, molluscs or crustaceans.
