The Villa Margon Chardonnay by Tenuta Margon was born from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the villa of the same name located south-west of Trento. The original vineyards, in particular, insist on soils that are generally sandy and rich in stone. The harvest produced approximately 60 hectoliters of wine per hectare. During the winemaking, the alcoholic fermentation took place partly in stainless steel, partly in oak barrels. The refinement took place for 10-12 months in stainless steel and wood of different sizes plus a further 8-10 months in the bottle.
VILLA MARGON CHARDONNAY TENUTA MARGON: THE TASTING
The Villa Margon Chardonnay by Tenuta Margon is revealed to the eye as having a straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose it releases aromas of yellow pulp fruit and white flowers followed by citrus notes and shy hints of sweet spices. The sip is mineral and full-bodied, supported by a strong fruity taste that flows into a persistent citrus and spicy finish. At the table it pairs well with vegetarian dishes and delicious seafood first and second courses.
