The Aglianico Act of Cantine del Notaio is a red wine made from 100% Aglianico del Vulture. The harvest was carried out by hand during the first decade of October. The winemaking process took place in stainless steel at controlled temperature and included a maceration phase of the must on the skins lasting 5-6 days. The aging occurred in natural volcanic tuff caves, lasting for 6 months in stainless steel and in barrels or tonneaux of French oak.

The Aglianico Act of Cantine del Notaio presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of marasca, plum, and red fruits combined with slight hints of volcanic stone and notes of licorice and dark spices. The tasting is full and harmonious, with good structure and well-integrated tannin texture. At the table, it pairs well with aged cheeses as well as rich land-based recipes featuring red meats or game.
