A jewel of the Banfi family, the Brunello "Poggio all’Oro" is produced from a single vineyard and exclusively in great vintages. The result is a particularly elegant Brunello Riserva with a complex and well-balanced personality. On the nose, intense aromas are perceived, with notes gradually revealing themselves, from licorice to coffee, to plum jam and tobacco, finishing with a slight hint of violet. On the palate, it is consistent and smooth. The refined structure is perfectly balanced with the acidity, which excellently supports the long persistence.

Aging: 40% in French oak barrels of 60 and 90 hl, and 60% in French barriques of 350 l. for a minimum of 30 months
Alcohol content: 14% Vol.
