The Prosecco Valdobbiadebe Extra Dry by Borgoluce is Prosecco in its reassuring classicism. The grapes come from the vineyards between Susegana and Collalto, located 200/300 meters above the sea; these hills of morainic origin have clayey soils. Borgoluce is 1000 hectares of woods, pastures, vineyards and cereal fields, in Susegana in the province of Treviso: an agricultural company that, in balance with the environment, takes care of this which is one of the most beautiful and flourishing lands in the Valdobbiadene. The harvest takes place in mid-September; the soft pressing of the whole grapes is followed by slow fermentation by carefully selected yeasts, at a temperature of 10C; then refinement on the noble lees for 4 months. The second fermentation then takes place in an autoclave according to the Charmat method and the wine refines for another month in the bottle before being released on the market.
PROSECCO VALDOBBIADENE EXTRA DRY BORGOLUCE: THE TASTING
The Prosecco Valdobbiadebe Extra Dry by Borgoluce has a brilliant straw yellow color with fine perlage. The olfactory impact is played between the fermentative hints of pear and apple, the floral fragrances of mimosa and fresh hay and a delicate mineral. On the palate it is savory, creamy, with hints of lemon dragée and aromatic herbs. This Prosecco is always good, both to quench your thirst with an afternoon toast, and to open the table, for example with prawns in pink sauce, or with fresh tagliatelle with croaker ragout.
Estimated between Monday 12 May and Friday 16 May.
