Nahikun means great desire in Euskera (Basque language). Recovering these vineyards was the strongest business desire and a huge effort.
This wine expresses the true taste of Tempranillo. The nose is perceived aromas of violet and delicate hints of oak wood. The taste intensity due to low yield is supported by tannins and good acidity. It lends itself to a long aging in the bottle.

Package: 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Grape varieties: Tempranillo (majority), Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha.
Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in barrels and aging for 1 year in French oak barrels. Not clarified and not filtered.

From the top of the Sierra de Toloño, gaze sweeps over the wide valley of La Rioja, with its carpet of vineyards surrounding the undulating course of the Ebro river. The landscape is exciting. At the opposite edge of the valley, towards the south, appear the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra de La Demanda. It is a magical region, with its great mountains that protect from the cold north winds. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in small containers. The wine then ages in barrels or amphorae, where a quiet maturation process takes place, marked only by the natural times and gestures that tradition has taught, with the ultimate goal of transmit to the wine the nuances of its territory, thus expressing its origin.
