Delivery and Returns

The Nero d'Avola Tareni by Pellegrino comes from vineyards in the Agro of Salemi and Mazara del Vallo, in the province of Trapani. We are on medium-textured soils tending towards clayey and brackish, at an average altitude of 160 meters; the climate is perfectly Mediterranean: mild winters, limited precipitation, very hot and breezy summers. Harvesting begins in the first decade of September, followed by traditional red winemaking with temperature-controlled fermentation (temperature control is necessary to ensure that fermentation develops slowly and steadily, preventing fermentation blocks, which could trigger fermentations involving other unsuitable fungi or bacteria). The aging then continues for 4 months in steel.
NERO D'AVOLA TARENI PELLEGRINO: TASTING
The Nero d'Avola Tareni by Pellegrino enters the glass with a dense and shiny ruby color. On the nose, it delights with blueberries, blackberry jam, violet, and rose, before opening up to spicy notes of black pepper and carob. The taste is soft and vigorous, with fruit softness balanced by vibrant tannins and a certain freshness. It pairs excellently with busiate pasta with black pork sauce from the Nebrodi.
Estimated between Wednesday 21 May and Tuesday 27 May.
