Korpus Shelf is a series of colored wall shelves created for HAY by Norwegian product designer Andreas Bergsaker. Born from the desire to create a durable multipurpose shelf from recyclable material, Korpus Shelf is made of aluminum sheet, known for its lightness, resistance and ability to be reused countless times. The aluminum is subjected to an industrial stamping and punching process to form the typically curved column and top. Keyhole-shaped slots on the back make mounting easy, while hidden hooks in the column provide additional hanging options. Available in a wide range of sizes and colours, these versatile shelves can be used in many different rooms of the home, such as a coat rack in the hallway, storing kitchen utensils, hanging bathroom towels or displaying knick-knacks in the living room.
