Girolamo Russo's Etna Bianco San Lorenzo was obtained from 90% Carricante and 10% Catarratto and Grecanico grapes from 80-year-old vines located among the red vineyards of the cru of the same name. The soils here are volcanic, sandy and rich in minerals. We are on the northern side of Etna at an altitude of approximately 750 meters above sea level. The harvest took place by hand in the first half of October. In the cellar the winemaking process included a short maceration of the must on the skins for 4 hours. The refinement lasted 6 months in second and third passage barriques and tonneaux and a further 6 months in the bottle.

Girolamo Russo's Etna Bianco San Lorenzo offers a straw yellow color with brilliant reflections. The nose shows aromas of yellow pulp fruit followed by notes of white flowers and aromatic herbs and hints of flint and citrus fruits. On the palate it offers freshness and a deep and layered minerality that persists in the long toasted hazelnut finish. At the table it goes well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as tasty seafood dishes such as the timeless spaghetti with clams.
