Illuminati's Montepulciano Riserva Zanna was obtained from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in the vineyard of the same name at 287 meters above sea level. After careful selection in the vineyard and cellar, the bunches were destemmed and pressed to obtain the must. The red vinification took place entirely in stainless steel at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. The refinement took place in 25 hectoliter oak barrels for a period of 24-26 months. This interesting Illuminata label is produced only in the best years.
MONTEPULCIANO RISERVA ZANNA ILLUMINATI: TASTING
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Zanna by Illuminati stands out to the eye with a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of plum and ripe cherry meet hints of red flower potpourri together with ethereal notes and dark spices. The taste is intense and full-bodied, enhanced by a silky tannic texture and a long fruity and spicy finish. At the table it goes well with mature cheeses as well as succulent land dishes based on red meat.
