The Marzemino d'Isera Superiore Etichetta Verde from Cantina d'Isera is the symbol of the winery. Marzemino represents the most typical wine of Vallagarina where it has found its ideal habitat, on the dark basalt soils of Isera. These soils, derived from the degradation of tuff and basaltic rocks, give the grapes, and therefore the wine, an absolutely characteristic structure and bouquet. The “Trentino” Marzemino controlled designation of origin accompanied by the name “Superiore” and with the specification of the “Isera” or “d'Isera” sub-area, is reserved for wine obtained from the Marzemino grape produced in vineyards located in a restricted area which includes part of the Municipality of Mori, the Municipality of Isera, the Municipality of Nogaredo and part of the municipality of Villa Lagarina. The grapes for this selection are harvested by hand in the last ten days of September; the red vinification, with fermentation at a controlled temperature, is carried out in stainless steel tanks, and the subsequent refinement takes place in concrete.
MARZEMINO D'ISERA SUPERIORE GREEN LABEL: TASTING
The Marzemino d'Isera Superiore Etichetta Verde from Cantina d'Isera has a brilliant ruby colour. On the nose it is intense and inebriating, with notes of dog rose, violet, blackcurrant jam, tobacco and pink pepper. In the mouth it is full, harmonious, fresh and tasty, with well-integrated tannins. To be drunk slightly refreshed, in the company of tagliatelle with chanterelles and speck.
