Delivery and Returns

Gattinara Tre Vigne by Travaglini is a classic label of the company that comes from the union of Nebbiolo grapes from three historic vineyards of Gattinara. Lurghe is the vineyard with the most clayey soil, important for the amount of color given to the wine; Permolone is the older one, with rocky soil, which gives it complexity; Finally, Alice, located in the highest area (at around 420 meters above sea level) gives the wine elegance, thanks also to the light breeze that blows regularly. The grapes are vinified in steel for approximately 15/18 days at a controlled temperature; the wine then ages mostly in large Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 40 months. 20% spend part of this time (10 months) in barrique; the further rest in the bottle therefore extends for 8-10 months.
GATTINARA TRE VIGNE TRAVAGLINI: TASTING
Travaglini's Gattinara Tre Vigne appears ancient and clear garnet. On the nose it opens slowly and elegantly, offering balsamic sensations, dried flowers, cloves, warm earth, licorice, pine needles, ferrous traces, chinotto, all wrapped in an embrace of red and black fruit. On the palate it expresses the perfect mediation between the fascinating severity of the tannin, the bursting flavor and the softness of the aromatic tones. Wine to be opened slightly in advance, before enjoying it with wild boar chops simply sautéed with oil, garlic and sage.
Estimated between Tuesday 27 May and Tuesday 3 June.
