The Pecorino Terre di Chieti Vellodoro by Umani Ronchi is produced from 100% Pecorino grapes. The vineyards of origin are located in the municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi (TE) where they enjoy a notable day-night temperature range which enhances the aromatic profile of the wine in terms of complexity and elegance. During the white vinification, only the free-run must was fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10-15 days at a temperature of 16-18°C. Before being put on the market, the refinement took place for 4 months in stainless steel in contact with the yeasts.

The Pecorino Terre di Chieti Vellodoro by Umani Ronchi has a straw yellow color with brilliant reflections. On the nose there are aromas of yellow pulp fruit, floral hints of chamomile and broom and clear hints of Mediterranean herbs and citrus fruits. Vibrant, fresh and mineral when tasted, it returns to give pleasant fruity and floral sensations. At the table it can be fully enjoyed with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as with delicious seafood preparations. Excellent with a tasty bruschetta with chicory and anchovies.
