The Bolgheri Ruit Hora by Caccia al Piano is mainly made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected by hand and placed in 12 kg boxes, with separate harvesting by variety and plot. A careful selection of the grapes preceded destemming, which was followed by the maceration phase in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature and subsequently refinement for 18 months in barrique.

The Bolgheri Ruit Hora has a brilliant and intense ruby red, the nose releases notes of ripe red fruit which evolve into hints of tobacco and coffee. When tasted it is warm, soft with a spicy finish. It pairs perfectly with game dishes and opulent first courses.
