Marani by Sartori is a selection of pure Garganega grapes. We are on the hills in the Soave production area, north of the municipality of Colognola ai Colli. The soils here are of rocky limestone origin, rich in white limestone skeleton. The grapes, harvested and sorted by hand, are left to dry for at least 40 days in large ventilated rooms, to reduce the percentage of water in the grape and therefore obtain a greater concentration of sugars. The crushing-destemming is followed by a short cold maceration, then the must ferments partly in oak barrels, partly in steel; the refinement then takes place, for both batches, on their own yeasts.
MARANI SARTORI: TASTING
Marani by Sartori presents itself in the glass with a beautiful intense golden yellow color. The nose offers generous notes of ripe fruit, yellow peach and mango first, which are intertwined with hints of honey, aromatic herbs, broom and eucalyptus. In the mouth the wine is voluminous, rich, mineral, fresh, with sensations of peanut butter and candied citrus fruits. The combination with larded chicken with plums is interesting.
