From the name of a Roman centurion who lived in our lands in the second century AD and who first left written traces of our viticulture. Produced with sweet Magliocco grapes, a vine present throughout Calabria, it is a red with personality and structure that best represents regional production.
Packaging: 1 bottle of 0.75 lt Production area: Azienda Rosaneti in the countryside of Rocca di Neto/Casabona Region of production: Calabria Grapes: Magliocco Soil type: clayey, calcareous System of cultivation and planting density: spurred cordon, 5000 plants per hectare. Yield per hectare: 65 quintals - 40 hectoliters Harvest time: first ten days of October Vinification: fermentation in thermo-conditioned steel with 15-day maceration. Aging: in wood, for 12 months in Allier barriques and with a 6-month stay in the bottle before release. Optimal period of wine consumption: more than five years
