The Vermentino di Sardegna Cala Reale by Sella & Mosca is made from 100% Vermentino grapes. The winemaking process included a pre-fermentation maceration phase at a temperature of 10°C for 24 hours to extract the primary fruit aromas. The alcoholic fermentation, which converted the sugars into alcohol, took place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The aging occurred for several months in stainless steel.
VERMENTINO DI SARDEGNA CALA REALE SELLA & MOSCA: THE TASTING
The Vermentino di Sardegna Cala Reale by Sella & Mosca presents itself in the glass with a straw-yellow color. On the nose, it releases aromas of tropical yellow-fleshed fruit that chase hints of Mediterranean scrub and subtle saline notes. The taste is fresh and mineral, supported by an intense fruity flavor that lingers in the finish with herbal notes. At the table, it pairs well with vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood recipes based on white fish, mollusks, and crustaceans.
