The Montepulciano Marina Cvetic is one of the 6 labels born from the private and professional bond between Gianni Masciarelli and Marina Cvetic, characterized by pure international and native grape varieties. We are in San Martino sulla Marrucina at an altitude of 400 meters, exactly in the vineyards of Colle di Paolo, Fonte Filippo, Schiavone, and Colle Rosina; the land that hosts the vineyards is rich in water sources and springs, which provide water richness throughout the year. These vineyards are almost all adjacent to natural forests. Such biodiversity is a true natural barrier against winds and insects, ensuring the health of the soil and the environment. Montepulciano is generally harvested in mid-October; fermentation in steel lasts between 15 and 20 days, with a maceration of 20/30 days. The aging lasts, depending on the vintages, between 12 and 18 months in 100% new barriques.
MONTEPULCIANO RISERVA SAN MARTINO ROSSO MARINA CVETIC: THE TASTING
The Montepulciano Riserva San Martino Rosso by Marina Cvetic presents an impenetrable ruby red color; on the nose, it is rich in red and black fruit, with aromas of violet and sweet notes of cocoa and vanilla. The palate is fragrant and stern, with a well-present but ripe tannin, a certain freshness, and great length. It pairs well with a scamorza and ventricina risotto.
Estimated between Monday 19 May and Friday 23 May.
