The Dolcetto d'Alba by Cordero di Montezemolo is an organic red produced from 100% Dolcetto grapes. The vineyards of origin, exposed to the West and North-West, extend across the municipalities of Alba and La Morra (CN), at an altitude between 250 and 290 meters above sea level. The soils here are of silty matrix, with a low percentage of sand and active limestone. After the manual harvest, carried out in the first half of September, the bunches arrived in the cellar where they were subjected to pressing to start the red vinification. The alcoholic fermentation, with maceration of the must on the skins, lasted for 8-10 days in stainless steel tanks. The refinement lasted 7-8 months in stainless steel tanks.

DOLCETTO D'ALBA CORDERO DI MONTEZEMOLO: THE TASTING
The Dolcetto d'Alba from Cordero di Montezemolo stands out to the eye with an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas of berries followed by hints of red flowers and a light vinous note. On the palate it is savory, balanced and with good freshness, supported by soft and well-integrated tannins. At the table it goes well with cured meats and cheeses as well as tasty and light meat dishes. To try with the classic spaghetti with tomato sauce.
