The Falanghina from Feudi di San Gregorio is made from 100% Falanghina grapes grown in the company’s vineyards that fall within the DOC which, by regulation, covers the entire administrative province of Benevento. Fresh and versatile, this young white wine is born from fermentation in steel at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C. The aging took place always in steel for a duration of 5 months in contact with the yeasts, a practice that allowed for an enrichment in terms of aromas and structure. Falanghina is a grape variety cultivated in Campania since ancient times and is said to derive its name from the term "falanga," which refers to the pole that in Roman times supported the vine stocks.

The Falanghina from Feudi di San Gregorio presents itself in the glass with a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, delicate aromas of wildflowers and yellow-fleshed fruit alternate with citrus notes and herbal scents. On the palate, fruity and herbal aromas return while freshness and minerality dominate. The finish is dry and pleasantly citrusy. At the table, it pairs well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as with simple and lively seafood recipes.
