The name 'Phileo' comes from Philomena, the woman who has significantly influenced Falkenstein and who is a model for future generations. It is a tribute to the mother of the current owner, Franz Pratzner.
Straw yellow in color, the olfactory examination captivates aromas of ripe golden apple and winter melon. Full, fresh and balanced with a medium long finish.

Grape varieties: 100% Pinot Bianco
Vinification: fermentation in barrique, aging for 12 months in barrique and 5 months in steel. For another 31 months aging in bottle.
Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.

Falkenstein was born from the desire of Franz and Bernadette Pratzner who decided in 1989 devote themselves exclusively to viticulture. Franz Pratzner, a winemaker of few words but full of ideas, follows his wines lovingly, as if they were children, each with a different character. He accompanies them in the cellar, choosing with great passion the path suitable for expressing their potential to the maximum and then in their development process until they are enough. ripe to handle on their own.
