Contini's Vermentino Tyrsos was obtained from 100% Vermentino grapes grown in the Tirso river valley in the province of Oristano. The vineyards here are rooted in partly sandy-clayey soils of alluvial origin and partly volcanic at an altitude of about 50 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out with a yield of 80-90 quintals per hectare. The white winemaking process included an alcoholic fermentation phase in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. The refinement always took place in stainless steel in contact with the fine lees for a few months.
VERMENTINO TYRSOS CONTINI: TASTING
Contini's Vermentino Tyrsos presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it expresses aromas of tropical yellow fruit that intertwine with hints of white spring flowers and citrus notes. The taste is pleasantly fresh and mineral. At the table it pairs well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as delicious seafood recipes.
